Applicants may be invited to outline their projects at a regular meeting of the Board and will be notified in writing of the Board’s decision and, if approved, an agreement letter will follow outlining the details of the support.
Funds provided must be spent for the project and activities as described in the application.
Russell Police Village Boundary
The boundary for the Police Village of Russell was established in 1898 when the Municipal Council of the United Counties of Prescott and Russell granted Police Village status to the Village of Russell, under the provisions of the Municipal Act.
Projects and events are generally eligible for support if they fall within the established boundaries of the Police Village of Russell, as defined in 1898 and illustrated on this map. While geographic location is a key factor, the Trustees also consider whether a proposed initiative will positively impact the broader Russell community.
